Graduate PR account executive (Glasgow)
& Graduate digital executive

We have two training and development opportunities for a graduate PR account executive and a graduate digital executive.


We’re looking for individuals who are brimming with enthusiasm, have bags of great ideas, loads of raw talent and are not afraid to take the initiative.  Pride in a job well done and a determination to succeed are highly desirable qualities.


The right candidates will be recent graduates with a degree in PR, communications, marketing, English, or similar disciplines.  You’ll have excellent writing skills, with a strong grasp of grammar and the ability to write in a variety of styles.


We are offering a one-year contract, with a view to transitioning into a full-time, permanent role within the team.  You will receive a fully structured training and skills development programme to help you learn the basics, improve industry knowledge and develop your passion for communications.


Specific tasks and activities in each role include (but not limited to):


Graduate PR account executive

  • Participate in creative idea sessions for existing client strategies and new business proposals
  • Drafting content, including news releases, opinion articles, blogs, newsletters
  • Client research to support the development of new ideas and opportunities
  • Compiling target media lists
  • Monitoring and tracking media coverage and other PR outputs and metrics



Graduate digital executive

  • Working with the digital content manager to plan and implement integrated social media strategies
  • Drafting, scheduling, and posting content across a variety of channels, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Regularly monitoring clients’ social media channels
  • Social media reporting and analysis
  • Client liaison and account handling
